Brett Kavanaugh remains the nominee for the next Justice on the Supreme Court. The week of September 24th, the Senate Judiciary Committee will likely hear testimony from Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, who has accused Kavanaugh of attempted rape. We will be there. Together, women can still save the Supreme Court.
Over 600 people joined Women’s March, CPD Action and Housing Works last week to disrupt the public hearings and encourage the committee to vote against the Kavanaugh nomination. More than 200 activists were arrested between the start of the confirmation hearings last Tuesday and the end of the testimony last Friday. Hundreds arrived again on September 20th to say #WeBelieveChristine, to urge Senators to #BeAHero and #CancelKavanaugh.
This confirmation hearing is a defining moment. We must step up and demand our elected officials do everything they can to stop this nomination process. Join generations of women again to take action on September 24th. Together we will tell Kavanaugh and the entire Senate Judiciary Committee -- we will NOT go back.
